The designer of this game is Toru Iwatani, who is a Namco employee.

The player must control the yellow character named Pac-Man and take him around the aisles while "feeding" little dots and other special objects. At the same time, there are four "ghosts" going around in the aisle in charge of capturing Pac-Man. The player can complete one level (level) if successfully eat the entire point and special objects. Theoretically, the game can continue without any level limits, but the 256th level has a bug that causes the image on the screen to be irregular and therefore Pac-Man can not continue playing through that level.

Pac-Man is now regarded as one of the classic video games as well as one of the icons of the 1980s. One of the reasons for his success is his form of play that can be favored by both men and women compared to other arcade games before Pac-Man like Space Invaders and Defender which is a shoot-out game.
